Empowering Employees Through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Our employee resource groups are an important piece of our inclusion culture and are open to all employees. These voluntary, employee-led groups are designed to offer our people opportunities to grow their professional network, give back to the community and enhance their work experience.

Our Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG) uses members’ collective experiences to enhance professional development, work productivity and the J.B. Hunt community while providing an innovative and empowering environment for J.B. Hunt employees to develop and utilize their diverse backgrounds and experiences.

“VERG was a starting place for me to really create community within J.B. Hunt and to connect with people who I knew I had immediate connections with through my experience in the military, and it’s been a great home for me,” said Skyler, Engineering & Technology manager and VERG member. “In the military you don’t see things as male or female, black or white, race or gender, you’re all people doing the same thing with the same mission and the same goal in mind, and you’re going to reach it together. And that carries over into VERG as well, it’s such a great like-minded group of people who are there to accomplish the same goal.”
